I was asked to sing for a National Day of Prayer event and struggled to find very many meaningful contemporary songs about prayer and decided to write one. As I thought about what I would want to say, it was clear that it needed to be about the struggle I feel as a human when I see another person hurting due to unexplained tragedies and hardships of life. There is something we can do!
